June "Lyn" Park is in the Grand Final of eStars2009 King of the Game after defeating Moon 2-1 to earn his passage into an Orc-mirror climax against Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen.
June 'Lyn' Park actually played an evil joke on myself telling me he'd lost 2-0 to Moon and faked a sad face, a sad which I took seriously and was off to write it was Grubby vs Moon it the final until I saw Moon versus Fly as the consolation match. Lyn avoided Orc mirror by finishing in 4th seed but there was no avoiding an Orc mirror in the Grand Final, as Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen vs Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu was the other semi-final match..
Fly had won the first game, but lost the second game which was a base killing race between him and Grubby in which the GomTV champion proved quicker. The third game was on Terenas Stand which started off really well for Fly managing to pull off some excellent early game micro and leter killed Grubby's Blademaster [video below]. However, at high supply Grubby proved the stronger player and caught Fly's Blademaster and Shadow Hunter in no man's land to take a 2-1 victory.
It has been long weekend with all the eStars matches going on. The East Side dominated the continental cup and then the players from the East team also showed superiority in the King of the Game.
After a long groupstage and two tiebreakers the King of the Game tournament has come down to one Orc player from the East and one Orc players from the West battling in the Grand Finals.
Both June "Lyn" Park and Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen made a comeback after being down 0-1. Both Grubby and Lyn are playing each other ones against after playing against one another three times yesterday.
In all their encounters yesterday Lyn beat Grubby twice while Grubby only managed to beat him ones. Although this Orc mirror finals is a match many had expected and also one many are getting tired off, hopefully they both put up a good show so everyone can get passed the Orc mirror matches in the Grand Finals thing.
