The Electronic sports world cup has decided to invite seven more players to the grand final event on the sole condition they do not have a national qualifier.
One of the biggest e-sports events in the world, the ESWC, in order to truly turn itself into an actual world cup, recently announced that spots for all their games have been opened for players whose country does not hold national preliminaries for their specific game.
In warcraft's case, seven more spots have been opened for players in this group, meaning they can still have a go at the $8,000 the champion will take home. The candidates list already contains names such as: Grubby, XlorD, ReMinD, hanf, Sai, FoCuS, SocceR, HasuObs, RohjinWook, Eric and S.o.k.o.L to name just a few, but the applications are open until May 28th so if you're interested, you may apply here.
The seven chosen ones will join WhO, ToD, LucifroN, Lyn, Moon, Happy and Fly100% who have already earned their spots due to their participation and good results in previous ESWC stops. The rest of the players will come from the winners of the National qualifiers.
